Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate quality nursing care across patient lifecycles and handle operational issues during shifts. You will provide clinical care as needed when census demands and communicate with leaders about patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns.

The role requires nursing licensure in Georgia, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and related certifications, with additional specialty certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.

Education
