We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Charge Nurse (LVN/RN) to lead our team of healthcare professionals at Avir at Nacogdoches. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff.
The Charge Nurse (LVN/RN) is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the nursing staff on a specific unit or department
Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring that all care is delivered in accordance with established standards and policies
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of patients and staff
Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff on a specific unit or department
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
Ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with established standards and policies
Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals and departments as needed
Monitor and maintain patient records and other documentation
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other quality assurance activities
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of patients and staff
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to established policies and procedures
