Position Description: Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patients' needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
  • Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Charting and incident reporting following established procedures.
  • Managing narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction per company procedures.
  • Documenting changes in patient conditions such as nutritional issues, infections, skin conditions, or weight changes.
  • Using the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
  • Updating applicable departments on patient room changes, LOA, admits, or discharges.
  • Making rounds with physicians when necessary.
