Responsibilities
  • Supervise Nurse Aides and ensure appropriate resident care.
  • Administer resident medications properly.
  • Implement care plans in accordance with guidelines and physician's orders.
  • Perform treatments and transcribe physician orders accurately.
  • Document residents' charts timely and accurately; complete nursing assessments as required.
  • Participate in shift reports and educate support staff on care needs.
  • Maintain a safe environment, adhering to infection control and body mechanics procedures.
  • Respond to staffing shortages by arranging replacements.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or Licensed/Vocational Nurse in good standing.
  • Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to organize workflow, respond to emergencies, and note details.
