Heritagehousemarshall is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead quality care and support resident well-being. You will direct care teams, administer medications, implement care plans, and ensure accurate documentation and safety during shifts.

The ideal candidate is in good standing as an RN or LVN, exhibits strong communication, organization, and emergency response skills, and collaborates with staff to maintain high standards of resident health and comfort.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure resident care.
• Administer Medications: safely administer prescribed meds.
• Implement Care Plans: execute plans per policies and orders.
• Perform Treatments: deliverments per resident needs.
• Transcribe Orders: accurately transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: maintain charts and nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: ensure care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: teach nursing policies and procedures.
• Maintain Safety Standards: enforce infection control and body mechanics.

Your Impact as a Charge Nurse - LVN or RN

In this role, you will:

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
