You will supervise nurse aides, administer medications, execute care plans, and document care while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN in good standing required.
• Excellent clinical, assessment and documentation skills are essential.
• Strong communication and ability to organize workflows effectively are needed.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate resident care.
• Administer medications safely as prescribed.
• Implement care plans per policy, federal guidelines, and orders.
• Perform treatments to maintain resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Document resident care and nursing assessments timely and accurately.

We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Charge Nurse - LVN or RN to join our growing team! Your Impact as a Charge Nurse - LVN or RN

In This Role, You Will

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
