Hireology is seeking a Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead quality care and support resident well-being in a fast-paced setting. This on-site role requires trustworthiness, consistent attendance, and multitasking to deliver exceptional care.

The Charge Nurse will guide nurse aides, administer medications, implement care plans, and document assessments while collaborating with shifts and staff on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing.
• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and ability to organize workflows.

Responsibilities

• Direct care teams: provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate resident care.
• Administer resident medications safely as prescribed.
• Execute resident care plans per policies and physician orders.
• Deliver treatments to support resident health and comfort.
• Accurately transcribe physician orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in resident charts and nursing assessments.
• Collaborate during shift reports to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate staff on nursing policies and resident care needs.
• Promote a safe working environment by following infection control and safety procedures.
• Address staffing shortages by arranging replacement staff as needed.

Your Impact as a Charge Nurse – LVN or RN

In this role, you will:

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.

• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.

• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.

• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.

• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.

• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.

• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.

• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.

• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.

• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
