Hireology is seeking a Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead care teams and oversee resident well‑being in a dynamic setting. This role requires ensuring safe medication administration, accurate documentation, and adherence to care plans and physician orders.

The Charge Nurse will supervise nurse aides, coordinate shift reports, educate staff on nursing policy, and uphold infection control and safety standards while addressing staffing needs as they arise.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or LVN in good standing with current license.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and technical skills.
• Able to organize workflows and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Direct care teams and supervise nurse aides to ensure resident care.
• Administer medications safely as prescribed.

Your Impact as a Charge Nurse – LVN or RN

In this role, you will:

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.

• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.

• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.

• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.

• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.

• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.

• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.

• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.

• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.

• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
