Responsibilities

• Assess and document residents' condition and nursing needs.
• Implement physicians' orders accurately and promptly.

• Supervise, direct, and evaluate LPNs and CNAs.
• Administer medications.
• Perform treatments for assigned residents.
• Document treatments as required.
• Ensure supplies are used economically and equipment is clean and safe.

Position: Charge Nurse (LPN or RN)

Villa St. Francis is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled care in our senior nursing facility located in Johnson County. Our residents receive the best care possible, ensuring comfort and stability as their health needs evolve.

Shift

7am-7pm Saturday & Sunday ($4.50 weekend differential)

Qualifications

• 1 year nursing experience preferred
• LPN or RN license is required in the state of Kansas
• Valid CPR certification

Essential Functions

• Assesses and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident's needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Supervises, directs and evaluates LPNs and CNAs
• Administers medications
• Performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents treatment as required
• Ensures supplies are utilized economically and that equipment is clean and maintained safely
• Other duties may be assigned
