Job summary

Raleigh Court Health & Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking an LPN Charge Nurse with a patient-centered care approach to join our team. The role includes supervising CNAs and delivering direct patient care in line with policies.

You will help develop and implement care plans, address patient and family concerns, and communicate with the Clinical Unit Manager. A Virginia LPN license is required; clear communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

The Charge Nurse supervises CNAs and provides direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and MFA Nursing Policies and Procedures. This position also assists in the development/implementation of patient care plans, identifies patient goals/approaches, resolves patient/family concerns, and summarizes concerns for Clinical Unit Manager.

Qualifications include:

• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse

• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form

• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy

• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
