Caring Place Healthcare Group's Western Hills Retirement Village in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse to provide quality nursing care, administer medications, and monitor resident conditions while collaborating with physicians and families.

The successful candidate will hold an Ohio LPN license, current CPR certification, and at least one year of healthcare or long-term care experience; strong communication, teamwork, and compassion are essential.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Ohio.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Compassion, professionalism, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor residents’ conditions.
• Communicate with physicians, healthcare team members, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care; document care and resident status in the medical record.
• Supervise nurse aides and medication aides, ensuring procedures and resident rights are upheld.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living when needed.
• Promote a safe, clean, calm, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in in-service programs, educational opportunities, and team meetings.
• Promote dignity, comfort, and well-being.

What We're Looking For:
