Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current state license.
• Maintains licensure (CE requirements) and CPR certification.
• Desires to work with elderly residents and families; able to collaborate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Assists in total patient care within the nursing unit and manages the unit.
• Provides direct nursing care to patients.
• Carries out admin and patient care duties as directed by the ADON or DON.
• Supervises nurse associates and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Instructs and oversees care implementation per physician or standard practice.
• Directs admission and discharge processes.
