Job summary

Advocate Health in Georgia seeks a Clinical Nurse to join its Nursing: Medical/Surgical IU 4 Main. This full-time role (38 hours/week) focuses on leading the care team, coordinating patient care, and ensuring safe, timely throughput and discharge planning.

Candidates must hold a current Georgia RN license; BSN is preferred. Minimum 6 months in clinical nursing; 2 years as a Clinical Nurse and 6 months as Charge Nurse are desirable. Comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Clinical Nurse; 2 years as a Clinical Nurse and 6 months as Charge Nurse.

• Provides leadership to the health care team with an emphasis on coordination of patient care and throughput of patients.
• Participates in the evaluation of staff performance and ensures orientation, education and competency for new staff.
