Job summary

Mercy in Rogers, AR seeks a Charge Nurse to oversee nursing services under supervision of the Director and Clinical Manager. You will ensure safe, efficient patient care using the nursing process and hospital policies.

Responsibilities include directing nursing activities, delegating tasks, supervising patient records, assisting with bed assignments, and maintaining inventory of meds and supplies. Requires RN license and state requirements; BLS and other certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program (ASN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, safe patient care through the nursing process and policies.
• Direct nursing service activities, delegate tasks to staff nurses.
• Supervise maintenance of patient records and assist with staff performance reporting.
• Assist with bed assignments and resolve arising issues.
• Maintain inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment; track narcotics.
