Job summary

The ideal candidate holds an RN or LPN license, has clinical experience, strong communication and teamwork, and is proficient with electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse is required.
• Prefer experience in a medical setting.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and customer service.
• Ability to use clinical assessment skills to determine patient needs.
• Maintain CPR and CEU credits required for licensure.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Understand standards and protocols for certifications by outside agencies.
• Commitment to Eastern Shore Rural Health and its Mission Statement.
• Bilingual patient care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively collaborate with team to achieve optimal patient care.
• Oversee essential nursing functions and supervise Pharmacy Assistant, Lab Technicians, and X-ray staff.
• Ensure CNM goals are met and evaluate patient flow for nursing aspects.
• Assist in staff meetings, scheduling, and immunization tracking.
• Provide patient education related to vaccines and care coordination.
• Assist provider with procedures and document in EMR.
• Perform phlebotomy, CLIA waived labs, and DOT/non-DOT drug screens.
