The nurse will provide nursing care within their scope of practice to meet patients' needs according to standards of practice, physician orders, center policies, and applicable regulations. Qualifications
  • Current LVN/LPN or RN license in practicing state.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
  • Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Charting and incident reporting following established procedures.
  • Managing narcotic counts, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction procedures.
  • Documenting changes in patients' conditions, including nutritional issues, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or other noticeable changes.
  • Using the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
  • Communicating room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges to relevant departments.
  • Making rounds with physicians when necessary.
