Acadia Healthcare is seeking an RN to direct care and coordinate a multidisciplinary team within a behavioral health setting. The role emphasizes patient safety, staff leadership, and high-quality nursing practice across shifts.
The candidate should hold an active RN license in the facility's state and have experience in behavioral health. BSN is preferred, with 6 months to 1 year of RN experience required or preferred depending on the shift.
Responsible for directing care to patients, facilitating work flow, service as a clinical resource for staff, and for providing team leadership on a shift to shift basis. health/nursing services in a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. Collaborate with others to ensure that all patients’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met and when they are not met, acknowledges and works to resolve customer complaints. Recognizes that patient safety is a top priority.
Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Current RN license within the state where facility is providing service.
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
First aid may be required based on state or facility.
