Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Charge Master Analyst/Expert to optimize the organization’s revenue cycle. You will manage the PBO platform workflows, ensure accurate charge routing, and drive clean claims with Medicare billing proficiency.

The role requires 5 years in CDM maintenance, AAPC certification (or within 1 year of hire), and expert knowledge of behavioral health and acute care reimbursement models. Expect collaboration across clinical and finance teams to strengthen financial health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field.
• AAPC Coding Certification (Professional & Technical) required for hire or must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
• 5 years of experience in CDM maintenance and Medicare billing.
• Expert proficiency with CDM tools (e.g., Panacea).
• Strong understanding of Behavioral Health, ASC procedures, and acute care reimbursement models.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and minimize revenue leakage through the Charge Master (PBO) platform.
• Resolve billing bottlenecks and ensure DNFB, CEWL, and EBEW targets are met.
• Maintain charge router accuracy and final claim generation.
• Ensure compliance with government and commercial audits.
• Collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams to optimize processes.
