Job summary

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System is seeking a Charge Description Master Coordinator to perform data quality reviews of department chargemasters, ensure CPT/HCPCS accuracy, and lead annual CDM reviews for compliant coding and billing practices. The role collaborates with leadership, auditors, and physicians, coordinating training and communicating CDM changes to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Healthcare Administration required.
• 3+ years progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle and chargemaster maintenance required.
• Experience with medical terminology and CPT coding systems.
• Solid understanding of billing and reimbursement processes.
• Analytical problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and menu‑driven software (preferred).
• Experience with Epic (preferred).

Salary Range: 68,266.00 - 112,632.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job‑related work experience, internal equity, and industry‑specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full‑time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
