As our Charge Master Description Analyst, you will focus on operational excellence, providing operational direction and oversight for our client’s charging improvement processes. Your responsibilities include ensuring the client’s CDM is accurate and compliant with Medicare and other federal regulations, mentoring CDM Coordinators, reviewing work, providing feedback for professional growth, and driving team performance towards high-quality outcomes. To thrive in this role, you must be resourceful, a team player, and manage your time effectively, performing tasks accurately and meeting deadlines.

Here’s what you will experience working as a Charge Master Description Analyst:

• Process CDM requests from clinical departments, researching references and regulations to ensure correct coding/charging.
• Identify root cause issues and escalate to Manager as appropriate.
• Develop best practice reports and assist clinical departments with billing and compliance issues using available CDM tools.
• Act as a subject matter expert, communicating knowledge to clients and internal staff.
• Facilitate department and/or client meetings, developing agendas and work plans that drive results.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CDM Coordinator or similar role.
• Coding certification or clinical licensing/certifications (e.g., BSN, RN, LPN, RT, RCC, CRTT, RHIA, CPC, CCS, CIRCC, etc.).

The base pay range for this US-based position is $47,237.00 - $78,919.86 per year. Pay is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. This role is eligible for an annual bonus of 5.00%.
