Job summary

North Okaloosa Medical Center is seeking an RN to provide patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinating and delivering high-quality care per physician orders. The role includes collaboration with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure outcomes and a supportive environment for patients and families.

The position requires Charge RN and Cath Lab RN experience, with regular hours Monday–Friday 0700–1530 and an on-call rotation for afternoons, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN - Registered Nurse licensure mandatory; BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency and scope.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Documents patient care and education promptly in the medical record.
