Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc is seeking a Characterization Engineering Co-op in Newbury Park for a June–December 2027 window. You will join the characterization team to assist with developing hardware and software solutions for RF front-end module testing, including filters, LNAs, and power amplifiers.

You will gain hands-on experience with RF lab equipment, automation, software development, and data analysis in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment, collaborating with engineers and other teams to

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Strong fundamentals and logical thinking.
• Coursework in control systems, signals & systems, analog circuits.
• Able to work on-site up to 6 months June–Dec 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with RF front-end modules characterization.
• Set up test benches, calibration.
• Develop and enhance software tools for test automation and data collection.
• Troubleshoot test scripts and hardware issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve coverage and quality.
• Analyze data and provide findings to project team.
