Qualifications

• Master of Divinity or equivalent from CHEA/ATS-accredited program.
• Four CPE units certified by ACPE/NACC/CASC/ACSS.
• Five years post-CPE chaplain experience.
• Two years as manager of a professional chaplaincy department.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and support for Chaplaincy Services.
• Oversee daily departmental operations and strategic initiatives.
• Lead department in improvement using accreditation standards and planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and others.
• Promote integration of spiritual care in patient-centered models.
• Manage staff wellness, development, and performance.
• Oversee budgets, resources, and operational processes.
• Redevelop and implement the ACPE CPE program.

Skills

Five Years experience as a chaplain

Two Years experience in chaplaincy-ops

Education

Master of Divinity degree or equivalent
