Job summary

Catholic Health's Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo is seeking a Chaplain Resident. The role combines educational training with practical ministry within the CPE program and serves patients, families and staff.

Under supervision of a Clinical Pastoral Education Manager and on-site mentor, the Resident provides spiritual care as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, in the context of illness, suffering and loss.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; theology or ministry training
• Graduate degree in Theology or MDIV preferred
• Minimum of one unit of CPE preferred
• Letter of good standing from religious body required
• Priest-applicants must obtain Bishop approval to reside and participate in CPE
