Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System is seeking a Chaplain Resident to join the Spiritual Wellness team in a full-time, day-shift role. You will be enrolled in the Clinical Pastoral Education program and serve as chaplain to multiple patient services areas, providing 24-7 on-call spiritual care as needed.

You will conduct ecumenical worship services, memorial services, Healing Prayer Services, and provide religious sacraments in line with patients' beliefs, working under the Directors of Spiritual

Provides spiritual care and support to patients, families and staff. The Chaplain Resident is a full-time student enrolled in the Spiritual Wellness Clinical Pastoral Education Program, a fully accredited education program of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. and is dually accountable to both the Directors of Spiritual Wellness Department and the Pastoral Education Program. Serves as chaplain to one or more patient services areas, on a rotating basis, provides 24-7 On-Call Spiritual Care for patients, families and staff, preaches at ecumenical worship services, memorial services, daily Healing Prayer Services, provides pre-operative pastoral care and support, in accordance with religious tradition and at the request of patients, families or staff. Provides religious sacraments in support of patient religious beliefs and spiritual practices.
