Job summary

Rush University Medical Center in Chicago seeks a part-time Chaplain to provide spiritual care to patients of all ages and their families. The role operates under a 12-hour shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) with on-call as assigned, and requires a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include delivering spiritual support to neonates through geriatrics, following department guidelines, completing at least one unit of CPE, and collaborating with the Chaplaincy Services team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited college/university.
• Completed at least one unit of CPE.
• Previous hospital experience preferred (Rush experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual care to patients across all ages per department guidelines.
• Provide on-call as assigned or negotiated.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Pay Range: $25.00 per hour
