Job summary

UCHealth in Longmont, CO is seeking a Chaplain Associate to provide after-hours and on-call spiritual care for Longs Peak and Broomfield Hospitals. Work from home during on-call hours and respond within 30‑45 minutes to emergencies.

The role requires flexibility, including weekends and holidays, plus ACPE CPE units and a Bachelor’s degree. Compensation is hourly with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Completion of ACPE CPE unit.
• Relevant spiritual care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform spiritual visitation, public worship services, and outreach services.
• Assess and respond to the spiritual, emotional, and cultural needs of those counseled, including crisis intervention, ethical concerns, and bereavement.
• Participate in an interdisciplinary approach to spiritual care and patient health.
• Document visits and interventions in accordance with organizational standards.
