South Hills Bible Chapel seeks a part-time Childcare Coordinator to enable ministry participation by coordinating safe, organized childcare for various programs and events. You will staff and supervise on-site childcare, align with ministry leaders, and manage schedules in Planning Center Online.

The role emphasizes recruiting and retaining paid and volunteer workers, onboarding compliance, and supporting families with timely communication and resources.

Qualifications

• Growing believer in Jesus Christ aligned with The Bible Chapel.
• Experience with children/volunteers in church or childcare setting.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to recruit, coordinate, and lead volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate childcare for ministries, classes, meetings, and events.
• Assess childcare needs with ministry leaders and schedule workers.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and support paid and volunteer childcare staff.
• Maintain childcare schedules in Planning Center Online.
• Ensure onboarding and compliance for workers.
• Provide supplies and coordinate curriculum content with leaders.
• Attend Chapel Kids leadership meetings and support other childcare duties.
