Channel Sales Manager – Cybersecurity Startup (a.k.a. The Partner Whisperer)

Location: Somewhere between your couch and the nearest airport

The Mission (should you choose to accept it):

Convince partners to sell innovative cybersecurity solutions that help mitigate risk effortlessly. You will handle onboarding, enablement, co-selling, and other tasks that come with a startup environment. Think: matchmaker, sales ninja, and part-time VAR therapist.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of channel sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity or SaaS.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging via in-person or virtual meetings.
  • Familiarity with partner program terminology: MDF, SPIFs, deal registration, etc.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and a healthy sense of urgency.
  • Willingness to travel regionally with flexibility.
  • Ability to adapt to startup chaos with resilience and humor.

What you'll really be doing:

  • Delivering consistent pitches to partners, even when they are distracted.
  • Managing a region with approximately 20 partners while maintaining your sanity.
  • Developing and pivoting channel strategies rapidly based on market needs.
  • Using tools like Google Sheets, CRM dashboards, and participating in QBRs.
  • Embracing startup culture—controlled chaos, Slack channels, and memes.
  • Representing the company as a first responder on the ground.
  • Facilitating collaboration across sales, marketing, customer success, and partners.
  • Contributing to the company's growth before and after IPO.
