Job summary

Paychex is seeking an early-career Channel Sales professional in Portland to drive new logos through referral partners and outbound outreach. You’ll build trusted relationships with CPAs and clients, conduct high-volume activity, and sell payroll, HR, benefits and compliance solutions.

You’ll own the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing, with opportunities for rapid skill development and uncapped earning potential in a high-growth environment.

What You’ll Do

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach
• Build relationships with CPAs and existing clients to drive new logos

• Early‑career sales professionals with 1–5 years of relevant experience.
• Comfort with high activity, fast cycles and transactional deal sizes
• Resilience, drive and competitive motivation
• Coachability and ability to quickly apply feedback
• Experience working toward goals or quotas (sales or similar environments) and demonstrated leadership experience—whether through work, school, nonprofits, fraternities/sororities, clubs or other organizations (for example, serving as a treasurer, team lead or project lead)
