Job summary

Paychex is seeking an early-career sales professional to join our Channel Sales team in Tempe. You will generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach, build relationships with CPAs and existing clients, and drive a rapid sales cycle while owning the full process from prospecting to closing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach
• Build relationships with CPAs and existing clients to drive new logos
• Execute high-volume daily activity (calls, follow-ups, and partner touchpoints) to build pipeline
• Sell a full suite of solutions: payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance
• Manage a fast-paced sales cycle (1–2 weeks) with small business owners
• Own the full process—from prospecting to closing deals

• Early-career sales professionals with 1-5 years of relevant experience.
• Comfort with high activity, fast cycles, and transactional deal sizes

• Coachability and ability to quickly apply feedback
• Experience working toward goals or quotas (sales or similar environments) and demonstrated leadership experience—whether through work, school, nonprofits, fraternities/sororities, clubs, or other organizations (for example, serving as a treasurer, team lead, or project lead)
