Job summary

Paychex in Columbus, OH, is seeking a results-driven sales professional to educate stakeholders about Paychex solutions and drive revenue by managing accounts and opportunities in Salesforce.

You will collaborate with accountants, banks, and existing Paychex clients to secure referrals and schedule meetings with channel accounts via calls, targeted emails, and marketing programs. Travel may be required to visit partners and participate in events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant sales or marketing capacity.

Responsibilities

• Achieve unit and revenue expectations.
• Create, manage, and advance accounts, leads, and opportunities in Salesforce and provide accurate sales activity and forecasts.
• Collaborate with key referral sources, including accountants, banks, and existing Paychex clients, to secure referrals to end-user sales.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with existing and new channel accounts through telephone calls, targeted email campaigns, and corporate marketing programs.
• Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customers’ needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders and decision makers.
• Develop sales skills and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Paychex product offering, staying up-to-date with new product initiatives, services, and industry trends.
• Collect, complete and submit all necessary paperwork for new sales within defined SLA guidelines.
• Address and, when required, escalates client concerns to service partners and follow-up to ensure satisfactory resolution.
• May be required to travel for visiting channel partners, attending sales incentive trips, ongoing training, and area meetings.
• Uphold and demonstrate the Paychex Values in every interaction internally and externally.
• Complete onboarding training curriculum as directed.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, the compensation range for this position is typically $51,000 – $81,000. This range includes base pay plus commissions and does not cover other components such as bonuses, stock, or benefits. Total compensation may vary based on location, skills, education, and experience.
