Job summary

Paychex is transforming how small businesses manage payroll, HR, benefits, and compliance through a connected HCM platform. The Channel Sales team drives growth by partnering with CPAs and referrals, building relationships, and closing deals with 1–99 employee businesses.

You’ll work with businesses of 1–99 employees—the entrepreneurs powering local economies—helping them succeed with essential HR, payroll, and compliance solutions. Through trusted partners like CPAs and client referrals, you won’t just sell—you’ll build relationships, unlock opportunities, and make a real impact. Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach
• Build relationships with CPAs and existing clients to drive new logos

• Early-career sales professionals with 1-5 years of relevant experience.
• Comfort with high activity, fast cycles, and transactional deal sizes
• Resilience, drive, and competitive motivation
• Coachability and ability to quickly apply feedback
• Experience working toward goals or quotas (sales or similar environments) and demonstrated leadership experience—whether through work, school, nonprofits, fraternities/sororities, clubs, or other organizations (for example, serving as a treasurer, team lead, or project lead)
