Job summary

Pro Signs is seeking a Channel Letter LineFabricator to support production by operating equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and preparing plastic and metal materials. The role maintains workflow and completes sign manufacturing tasks on a regular Monday–Friday schedule.

The position requires at least 1 year in sign fabrication or related fabrication environments, familiarity with safety practices, and ability to handle materials up to 50 lbs. Pro Signs offers standard PPE and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in the sign industry, a plastics or metals fabrication environment, or otherwise related industry that would provide the needed skills.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Clock into the workorder in the job costing system to ensure labor hours are attributed to proper job number.
• Operate and maintain channel letter equipment that shapes metal into letters (SDS channel bender and trim cap bender).
• Assemble metal bodies to form each letter (channel letter cans).
• Fit and trim acrylic faces (trim capping).
• Install LED lighting and ensure illuminated signs comply with Pro Sign, UL, and national electric codes. Coordinate with the art and CNC departments to expedite sign components while maintaining quality assurance and timeliness of workorder completion.
• Maintain a clean working area and stage any waste for removal.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and complete required safety trainings.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Channel Letter LineFabricator supports production by operating equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and preparing plastic and metal materials to complete signage while maintaining workflow with the department to fulfil work orders.

Job Details

• Full-time, non-exempt hourly, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, reach, crouch, and twist frequently.
• Ability to manually handle plastic sheets, molds, tools, and machinery.
• Ability to work safely around production equipment including wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following OSHA guidelines.
