This range is provided by Another Planet Entertainment. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $68,500.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Overview

This position oversees ticketing for Channel 24 from on-sale through settlement, manages and schedules support staff, and supports venue administration alongside the General Manager. The role includes being the show box office manager on weeknights, with additional staffing for weekend shows. Duties and responsibilities may evolve as the company grows and takes on new venues and festivals in the Sacramento area. Flexibility is essential.

Box Office Responsibilities
  • Serve as main interface with Ticketmaster, troubleshoot issues.
  • Compile and email daily ticket counts (M-F) before noon.
  • Work the box office during weeknight shows if scheduled.
  • Review reports from night shows.
  • Coordinate VIP packages and fan advisories.
  • Handle all cash flow (minimal, as Channel 24 will be cashless).
  • Manage box office inventory and reordering.
  • Maintain equipment and workspace.
Additional Ticketing Responsibilities
  • Build and manage shows in Ticketmaster & Venue Database.
  • Handle all ticket requests, including guest lists and comps.
  • Manage ticket holds and internal buys.
  • Schedule and hire/train box office staff.
  • Be available for after-hours questions/emergencies.
  • Assist with high-profile shows and coordinate with booking, marketing, and sponsorship departments.
Venue Admin Responsibilities

Support the General Manager with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, managing artist contracts, processing deposits/settlements, maintaining inventories, planning staff events, managing communications, and handling ADA requests.

Qualifications
  • 2-3 years relevant experience in a box office, preferably in music.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; Adobe Cloud preferred.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $68,500 - $75,000, based on experience.
