Overall Summary:

The Operator IA operates department equipment to produce high-quality products, according to customer’s guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Conduct quality checks.
2. Read and understand production tickets.
3. Package finished product efficiently and accurately, mail product.
4. Complete electronic and paper documentation.
5. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
6. Assist coworkers in other departments when needed.
7. Perform other (or other related) duties as applicable or assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Ability to read and write basic English.
2. Basic computer skills preferred.
3. Strong attention to detail.

Salary:
The starting hourly rate range for this position is $17-20/hr.

Education and Experience:

1. High School Diploma/GED preferred, or commensurate experience relating to the job required.
2. Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating 3 or 4 days per week including weekend rotations.
2. Ability to work overtime when needed.
3. Standard climate-controlled production environment; exposure to loud noise (PPE is provided).
4. Ability to lift, carry and push/pull up to 35 pounds.
5. Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, pivot, crouch, squat, kneel, and stoop for up to 12 hours.
6. Upper extremity motion requirements: fine motor movements, pushing/pulling with arms, grasping and pinching.
7. Lower extremity motion requirements: reaching.
8. Pre-employment post-offer comprehensive assessment required.
