Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Change Manager in Jacksonville, FL, operating in a hybrid role. You will coordinate Windows Server and VM patching, govern patch delivery, manage change tickets, and drive audit-ready reporting with IT teams and stakeholders.

You will work with patch management tooling, support central governance, and interface with incident and audit teams to ensure timely and compliant patch deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience of patch management processes and vulnerability management concepts.
• Experience collaborating with infrastructure teams, leading interlocks and workshops.
• Good understanding of Windows Server and VMware OS; hands-on knowledge preferred.
• Understanding of cloud-hosted compute environments.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis ability.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira.
• Basic AI skills, with Gemini or Copilot experience beneficial.

• Serve as a key contact for audits on patch status and scheduling matters.
• Maintain operating procedure documentation for patch management.
• Interface with Major Incident Management for critical patch deployments.

We are currently seeking a Change Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida (US-FL), United States (US).

Responsibilities:

• 1. Coordinate Windows Server and VMware patch management activities, including engagement with Windows and VMaaS engineering teams, Operations teams (including vendors), application owners and server owners to support a smooth end-to-end patching pipeline.
• 2. Providing governance and oversight of timely operating system patch delivery.
• 3. Creation and management of patching schedules / slots.
• 4. Creation and management of change tickets and following up on required approvals.
• 5. Coordinating the remediation of gaps or shortcomings in Windows and VMaaS patch compliance reporting.
• 6. Supporting central patch management teams with governance of the patch ageing estate by coordinating with ITAOs, application owners and server owners to resolve scheduling issues and improve overall patch compliance.
• 7. Managing weekly DB/vendor interlock meetings for Windows & VMaaS patching, supporting approvals for patching-related change requests and progressing Windows & VMaaS escalations.
• 8. Perform a support role for patch management tooling, including ServiceNow.
• 9. Act as a key contact for internal audit, external audit and regulators on Windows & VMaaS patching queries, and respond to ITAO, business area and audit queries relating to patch status, scheduling and technology-specific matters.
• 10. Maintain the key operating procedure documentation for Windows and VMaaS patch management in collaboration with key process delivery stakeholders.
• 11. Interfacing with Major Incident Management teams for critical, out of band, patch deployments.

Skills:

Years of exp: Min 5 years

• 1. Experience of patch management processes, vulnerability management concepts and related tooling.
• 2. Experience collaborating with infrastructure functions, including leading interlocks, gathering requirements, facilitating workshops with key stakeholders, and producing senior management and audit documentation for projects and ongoing operations.
• 3. A good understanding of Windows Server and VMware operating systems; hands-on working knowledge would be an advantage.
• 4. A good understanding of cloud-hosted compute environments.
• 5. Strong Excel skills and the ability to perform data analysis.
• 6. Experience of Agile methodology and using Jira.
• 7. Basic AI skills, including experience with tools such as Gemini or Copilot, would be beneficial.

About NTT DATA:

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $ 65.00/Hour./W2 to $70.00/Hour./W2 hourly range. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
