Job summary

QBE North America is seeking a Change Management Leader to establish, lead, and mature an enterprise Change Management practice across the organization. You will define the strategic direction, operating model, and service offerings for change management initiatives.

The role requires coordinating with stakeholders, managing multi-year programs, and aligning resources with business needs in a hybrid office setting across multiple U.S. locations.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, lead, and mature an enterprise Change Management practice, including defining strategic direction and operating model.
  • Develop and maintain change policies, methodologies, processes, standards, templates, and tools for scalable application.
  • Lead and manage the Business Change & Support Team to align resources with business needs.
  • Support development and implementation of change management strategies.
  • Assess potential impacts of change on business and evaluate risk factors.
  • Design and execute activities to support change adoption across the business.
  • Develop strategies to improve change methodologies and ensure effective testing and validation.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality services.
  • Monitor and manage performance of external parties and ensure data licensing meets business needs.

The Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to develop, implement and execute appropriate change strategies to support strategic transformational initiatives and programs of work.




  • Location: Madison, Wisconsin; Chicago, Illinois; Atlanta, Georgia; New York City, New York

  • Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week.

  • The salary range for this role is: $130,500.00 - $245,500.00



Your New Role


  • Establish, lead, and mature an enterprise Change Management practice, including defining the strategic direction, operating model, and service offerings for change across the organization.

  • Develop and maintain enterprise change management policies, methodologies, processes, standards, templates, and tools that enable scalable and consistent application.

  • Lead and manage the Business Change & Support Team to align resources with business needs.

  • Support the development and implementation of change management strategies.

  • Assess potential impacts of change on the business and evaluate risk factors.

  • Design and execute activities to support change adoption across the business.

  • Develop strategies to improve change methodologies and ensure effective testing and validation.

  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality services are delivered.

  • Monitor and manage the performance of external parties and ensure data licensing meets business needs.



Required Qualifications


  • Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.



Preferred Experience


  • Familiarity with commercial insurance products and processes—such as underwriting, policy lifecycle (new business, renewals, endorsements), and broker/agent distribution models

  • Extensive experience managing planning and change functions, including CMOs.

  • Demonstrable ability in managing internal and external stakeholders with conflicting demands and understanding the commercial/financial implications and business impact of alternative People solutions.

  • Experience in the use of tools and techniques to facilitate effective change adoption.

  • Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.

  • Significant experience supporting multi-year change programs across different countries and cultures with diverse populations to achieve desired results.

  • Change Management industry accreditation.



Compensation Package

The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE's annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
