Job summary

Montclair State University seeks a Change Manager to lead organizational change initiatives, developing strategies to adopt new processes, systems, and ways of working. Onsite and/or hybrid work arrangement with regular campus presence.

You will partner with project teams and leaders, build readiness, manage training, communications, and stakeholder engagement to minimize disruption and drive sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive professional experience in IT management or large-scale transformation projects.
• Experience rolling out ERP systems—preferably Workday—in a university setting.
• Strong knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute organizational change management strategies.
• Assess readiness and impact of planned changes.
• Identify and mitigate organizational risks.
• Design communication strategies for upcoming changes.
• Lead training programs and materials for employees.
• Monitor adoption, establish metrics, and report to leadership.
• Coordinate change management workstreams with project teams.
