Job summary

WorkLLama is seeking an Engineer/Materials Scientist to execute Supplier Change Notifications and provide technical support to manufacturing areas. You will evaluate supplier updates, interact with clients, and implement robust solutions within site systems with minimal supervision.

The candidate will blend analytical capabilities and strong technical writing with teamwork to manage priorities and drive projects in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or Materials Sciences required; engineering degree strongly preferred.
• 1.5+ years of relevant experience in engineering, materials science, or manufacturing support.
• Experience with change control and project management is preferred.
• Familiarity with Quality systems (Validation, Deviations, CAPA) and enterprise software (Veeva Vault, SAP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage Supplier Change Notifications end-to-end within site systems.
• Evaluate, track, and manage technical and operational impacts with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide and occasionally lead technical support to manufacturing areas to identify and implement practical solutions.
• Anticipate and interpret client and manufacturing needs to ensure smooth production continuity during supplier updates.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, assessments, and status reports with strong attention to detail.
• Work independently with minimal routine supervision while exercising sound technical judgment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to align on change control processes.
