Job summary

Solairus Aviation seeks a Full-Time Challenger 650 Captain to join our Bedford, MA operation at KBED. The successful candidate will lead flights with emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client service.

Required: 3000 total hours, PIC 1500, MEL 1500, MEL PIC 500, turbojet 500, and 250 instrument hours; Challenger 650 type rating or equivalent; First class medical; relocation within 2 hours of KBED.

Qualifications

• Total flight hours: 3000.
• PIC time: 1500 hours.
• MEL time: 1500 hours.
• MEL PIC: 500 hours.
• Turbojet time: 500 hours.
• Instrument time: 250 hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe operation of the Challenger 650 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with FAA regs and Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Review the maintenance status of the aircraft.
• Perform proper pre-flight inspection per Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the route, including alternates.
• Ensure flight complies with Solairus policies and applicable FAA regulations.
• Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft and crew.
• Accurate completion of all trip paperwork per procedures.
