Job summary

Solairus Aviation’s Bedford-based team is seeking a Challenger 605 Captain. You will lead every leg with a focus on safety and professional client service, planning and executing flights while coordinating with crew and support teams.

You must maintain airworthiness, perform preflight checks, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role requires strong discipline, on-call readiness, and a proven track record in high-performance corporate aviation.

Qualifications

• Total flight hours: 3,000+ hours across careers.
• PIC: 1,500+ hours on command.
• MEL: 1,500+ hours with MEL PIC 500+ hours.
• Turbojet time: 500+ hours; Instrument time: 250+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead every flight with uncompromising safety, sound judgment and professionalism.
• Review maintenance status prior to departure to ensure airworthiness.
• Conduct preflight inspections per AFM.
• Plan flights by weather, NOTAMs, routes and alternates.
• Adhere to Solairus Aviation policies and CFRs.
• Safeguard passengers, aircraft and crew; uphold high airmanship and service standards.
• Accurately complete trip paperwork and reports.

Your Mission

Lead every flight with uncompromising safety, sound judgment, and exceptional professionalism. You’ll be trusted to plan, execute, and complete missions efficiently while creating a refined experience for clients and collaborating seamlessly with your crew and company support teams.

What You’ll Do

• Assume full responsibility for the safe operation of the Challenger 605 on every leg.
• Review aircraft maintenance status prior to departure and ensure airworthiness.
• Conduct thorough preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM).
• Plan flights prudently: analyze weather, NOTAMs, route, destination, and alternate airports.
• Ensure strict adherence to Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Safeguard passengers, aircraft, and crew; maintain the highest standards of airmanship and service.
• Accurately complete all required trip paperwork and reports.
