Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command for the CL-604 to lead safe, compliant operations under FAA regulations and the DST Flight Operations Manual. You will oversee flight planning, inspections, and post-flight records, while ensuring high standards of safety and customer communication.

The role requires 2,000 hours total time, a Commercial AMEL with Instrument rating, and the ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS as needed. A DoD Top Secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum total time of 2,000 hours.
• Commercial Pilot — AMEL with Instrument rating.
• Current FAA First or Second Class Medical.
• Valid passport and U.S. citizenship; ability to travel internationally.
• DoD Top Secret clearance eligibility and pass drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command of the CL-604 under FAA regulations and the DST Flight Operations Manual.
• Lead comprehensive flight planning; conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections.
• Navigate and operate the aircraft while managing ATC communications and coordinating special activities as required.
• Continuously monitor aircraft performance, weather, and systems to make timely decisions.
• Apply effective Crew Resource Management (CRM) to lead and mentor crew members.
• Brief all passengers and crew on safety and egress procedures prior to flight.
• Communicate with customers to clarify mission objectives, schedules, and expectations.
• Report mechanical issues to Maintenance and the Chief Pilot; document discrepancies.
• Complete aircraft administration, including time tracking, manifests, and post-flight records.
