Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Challenger 300 Captain to join an operation at KIAD airport. The successful candidate will uphold Solairus’ culture of safety, service, and integrity while delivering exceptional travel experiences for clients.

The role focuses on safe operation of the Challenger 300, thorough pre-flight checks, and strict adherence to flight rules and procedures. On-call readiness and relocation within a 2-hour drive from KIAD are expected.

Qualifications

• Total time 3,000 hours minimum.
• PIC time 1,500 hours minimum.
• MEL 1,500 hours minimum.
• MEL PIC 500 hours minimum.
• Time in Turbo Jet 500 hours.
• Instrument time 250 hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe operation of the Challenger 300 aircraft.
• Conduct flights safely and prudently per applicable items.
• Review aircraft maintenance status before flight.
• Perform proper pre-flight inspection per Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather, route facilities, and alternate airports.
• Ensure flight complies with Solairus policies and FAA regulations.
• Safeguard passengers, aircraft, and crew; complete trip paperwork accurately.
