Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist chairside during procedures (bonding, banding, wire adjustments).
• Take and process dental X-rays, photographs, and scans for records.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments; maintain a clean, compliant treatment area.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care.
• Place and remove brackets, archwires, ligatures, and elastics under supervision.
• Document patient records and update treatment charts in dental software.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure a positive experience.
