Job summary

Missouri Highlands Health Care in Missouri is seeking a Non-Certified Dental Assistant (non-exempt) to assist dentists across patient care, charting, and sterilization. You will work under the supervision of Dentists and Dental Director, supporting front desk and outreach duties as needed.

The successful candidate will be trained in charting, patient vitals, x-ray assistance, and basic hygiene support, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and compassionate patient service in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Must be motivated to serve the needs of patients and perform services to benefit the healthcare facility.
• Must possess reading and verbal skills necessary to understand and communicate dental records, procedures, and medication orders.
• Must possess tact, patience, and a neat professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Chair side assisting: assist Dentist in patient care during visits and manage charting updates.
• Sterilization: clean rooms and sterilize instruments, follow safety protocols.
• Cross training: assist with front desk duties and hygiene tasks as needed.
