Job summary

Lumio Dental is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to support Emerald Dental Topeka with chairside care and patient records. You will work closely with doctors to ensure high-quality patient experiences in a private-practice setting.

Ideal candidates are motivated, patient-focused, and able to take X-rays, record histories, vital signs, and assist in preventive care. Lumio offers a supportive culture with opportunities for mentorship and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Expose dental diagnostic X-Ray.
• Record treatment information in patient records
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
• Clean teeth, using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
• Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth.
• Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
