Enhance Dental in Norman, OK is seeking a Chairside Dental Assistant to support dentists and staff in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will help with radiographs, instrument sterilization, patient comfort, and post-treatment instructions.

Candidate should have a high school diploma, CPR, and applicable radiography certification. Prior experience is preferred and you will work under the supervision of the dentist and lead dental assistant to maintain OSHA/HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current dental assistant license/registration/permit as required by state regulations. Current CPR certification.
• Radiography/X-ray certification required if applicable to job duties and state regulations.
• Expanded Functions: where applicable to state regulations and job duties.

Responsibilities

• Sit chairside to assist dentist and relax patient during appointments.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare dental materials and cements.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and maintain radiographic safety.
• Maintain infection control and ensure a surgically clean work environment.
• Assist in updating and maintaining patient records and dental charts.
• Order and manage dental supplies within budget and assist with basic office tasks.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Current dental assistant license/registration/permit as required by state

CPR certification

Radiography/X-ray certification if applicable
