Position: Chairside Dental Assistant - Adult and Oral Surgery - ACN - WC – Days

The Dental Assistant will support general dentists and oral surgeons chairside, greet and escort patients, take radiographs as instructed, set up and break down operatory, clean operatory areas after each patient, and stock necessary materials daily. Responsibilities also include maintaining equipment and materials per OSHA, federal, and state guidelines, and fostering a positive environment for patients and colleagues. This role contributes to a close-knit, team-oriented environment, making a difference in countless lives—including your own.

The schedule for this full-time position is 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Preferred Criteria
  • Experience working with patients in an oral surgical setting
  • Four-handed Dentistry experience
  • Ability to work with patients with special needs
  • Completion of a certified Dental Assisting program

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Chairside Dental Assistant

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.
