Job summary

Coulson Aviation in the United States seeks an experienced CH47 Pilot in Command to execute aerial firefighting missions and related flights. You will ensure safety, compliance with FAA rules, and efficient mission execution in diverse environments.

Responsibilities include flight planning, briefings, and coordination with maintenance and crews. A PIC qualification for CH47 and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Commercial Rotorcraft License
• Must have Instrument Rating (Helicopter)
• Qualified to act as PIC in CH47
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Exercise final authority for safe operation of the aircraft per 14 CFR 91.3
• Review flight assignments, weather, NOTAMs, and mission requirements
• Conduct preflight planning including weight & balance, fuel, routing and performance
• Maintain flight logs and operational records
• Coordinate during pilot shift changes and ensure duty/flight time compliance
• Provide professional representation of Coulson Aviation with clients and stakeholders
